Noticed something odd last week. My Ghost sat unused for about three weeks because I was travelling, and when I finally took it out the shifts felt lazy, almost like the car was confused about which gear it wanted. It smoothed out after twenty minutes or so, but there's still a slight hesitation going from second to third that I don't remember being there before. I've read that these gearboxes can be sensitive to fluid condition and that low battery voltage can mess with the adaptations too. Someone mentioned genuine Rolls-Royce gearbox repair in Sharjah to me, and I'm considering getting it looked at before it turns into something bigger, but I'd rather hear from anyone who's dealt with similar symptoms. Did a fluid and filter change sort it, or did it turn out to be the mechatronics? Also, does anyone know if these units need software relearning after any work is done?
